Bill Ring, M.B.A., CFP®

Investment Advisor Representative

A graduate of Winter Park (FL) High School, Mr Ring has worked with educators and non-profit organizations as a practicing financial planner since 1984. Prior to that, he was a U.S. Government Bond Trader, specializing in Futures, Options, and Options on Bond Futures at the Chicago Board of Trade. He received a B.S. in Business from Southern Illinois University and a M.B.A. from Wayne State University before completing the requirements to be a Certified Financial Planner® through the College for Financial Planning in Denver.

A strong believer in quality education, Mr. Ring has been a Junior Achievement advisor and, in 1988, he was recognized by President Reagan with a letter of commendation for Mr. Ring's work with inner city youth. A long time member of MENSA, he has been selected to be a facilitator at the Mensa National Symposium on Education.

Mr. Ring holds Series 7, 26 and 63 financial registrations, and is a CFP®. He holds life, health, long term care, and fixed and variable licenses in the state of Florida.

His daughter, Lisa, was a nineteen year old senior before graduating with honors with a degree in Engineering-Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. She studied Astrophysics at M.I.T. and is currently a Ph.D candidate at Vanderbilt University. Upon completion, Lisa plans to apply to the NASA Astronaut program.

John Gillespie, J.D.

After graduation from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, Mr. Gillespie obtained his Law Degree from The Ohio State University College of Law, Columbus. Mr. Gillespie is admitted to the Bar in Ohio and Florida, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. His areas of practice include Juvenile Law, Family law, Estate Planning, and Wills and Trusts.

Professional Associations and Memberships include the American Bar Association, the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida, the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Orange County Teen Court Board of Advisors.

John is a former President of the Osceola County Bar Association. He has taught in Ohio and Florida and was a pension advisor in the Albuquerque Public Schools. Mr. Gillespie is married to Vicki, his bride of twenty five years. They are proud parents of Austin, 24, who will begin his legal studies at the University of Illinois College of Law and Chet, 21, who is the Media and Marketing Director for a major fashion design and export firm in Stockholm, Sweden.

James Burnett Kelly III J.D., MSRE

r. Kelly received his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in Psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. He then studied at the University of Florida College of Law concurrent with studies at the U. of F. Warrington College of Business to become the University's first student to graduate with a joint Juris Doctor and Master of Science in Real Estate.

After graduation, Mr. Kelly served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, Orange and Osceola Counties, Florida. More recently, he served as an Assistant City Attorney and Police Legal Advisor for the City of Kissimmee, Florida.

Paul Mozak, JD, CLU, ChFC

Mr. Mozak is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and he received his law degree from Faulkner University's Jones Law School. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is a licensed attorney who does not practice law but applies his more than 20 years of extensive advanced estate planning expertise to work with the Financial Dignity associate attorneys and/or client attorneys for all of the following:

  • Expertise in financial, retirement, estate, and business continuation planning with emphasis on the uses of philanthropy in generation skipping, estate, retirement, and income tax planning.
  • Designing COLI and BOLI programs to fund employees benefits such as nonqualified deferred compensation and split dollar life insurance.
  • Drafting, uses, and administration of trusts of various types, including but not limited to irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable lead and remainder trusts, revocable trusts, Rabbi trusts, asset protection trusts and special needs trusts.
  • Thorough understanding of life insurance and its uses in estate and financial planning.
  • Extensive knowledge of investment and portfolio management, as well as FINRA rules and regulations.
  • Support in dealing with international clients, especially those from Latin America.
  • Drafting and uses of buy/sell agreements and small business valuation.

Janice Kerr, JD, M.B.A.

Janice Kerr graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from the University of the West Indies. She joined Goodyear International as a Marketing Representative and moved up the ranks after earning her M.B.A at the Nova Southeastern University Huizenga School of Business and thereafter became a manager of sales, marketing and distribution working in the Caribbean and Latin American markets.

She then returned to the N.S.U Shepard Broad Law school where she earned her Juris Doctor.

Ms. Kerr became a Contract Administrator with the Walt Disney World Starwood Hotels before becoming an Assistant State Attorney with the Ninth Judicial Circuit. She has successfully prosecuted felons, protected victim rights and has represented the State of Florida while defending Constitutional challenges. She is a member of the Osceola Bar Association.

Her current areas of private practice include Contracts, Juvenile Law, Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Probate, Wills and Trusts.
